Generosity is about more than money. Giving consistently, even in small amounts, is a reflection of your faith and ongoing commitment to your spiritual journey.

    To help you through these challenging times, in 2026 you will be able to deduct your charitable donations from your Federal tax return, even if you do not itemize your deductions,. The deduction is $1,000 ($83/month) for single tax payers and $2,000 ($167/month) if you file joint.

Divine Liturgy - Pentecost

All-Holy Trinity Orthodox Church 3600 Fall Creek Highway, Granbury, TX, USA

Pentecost is one of the Great feasts of the Orthodox church. We commemorate the decent of the Holy Spirit on the Apostles. The Orthodox church began at Pentecost.

It is customary to decorate churches and houses at this Feast with fresh cut flowers, and to stand at the Divine Liturgy holding flowers. The flowers, represent the renewed of nature in the spring and the renewal of mankind through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit,

On Pentecost, Orthodox Christians observe an extraordinary service called the Kneeling Prayers. These prayers are only read once each year in this service. The prayers signify a transition from the joy and celebration of the Resurrected Christ to the “normal” mode of discipleship. These are beautiful and powerful prayers by St Basil.
